Job Description
- Technology Enablement Group (TEG) is a part of Platform Enablement Solutions Group (PESG)
- The charter of the group is to enable external foundry ecosystem to the product design teams across various domains
- In a world where the structures on chips are moving towards physical limitations and new devices are being invented (egFinFET), software systems for design, layout and verification strategies get more and more challenging
- This is a position at Intel Technology Enablement Group in Bangalore, joining a team of experienced engineers (located on different sites) working on different fields of process design kit development (PDK), product support and design automation
- The PDK is a collection of software and technology files describing the process technology for CAD tools, which are needed to enable schematic, physical layout and APRAs a PDK engineer you will be responsible for the development of Innovous and Fusion Compiler technology files, which are used for standard EDA software solutions to enable automated design steps
- You will also be required to develop software scripts for automation of design or layout steps and evaluation of new software packages
- This role will also need you to collaborate with IP and flow teams and develop QA testcases to pinpoint/debug IP/flow/EDA tool issue
- So a good understanding of backend digital flows, floor planning, APR is a must.
- Degree(BS/MS) in electrical engineering, material sciences, software engineering or equivalent experience- 5-7 years of experience with EDA tools required, preferable on ICC2, Innovous, Fusion Compiler- Proven know-how of one design collateral f
