Job Description
- Automation experience is required, especially in Python, Appium, Selenium framework
- Experience testing iOS / Android applications involving interaction with hardware, and strategies involving keeping up with the various iOS and Android releases
- Experience testing device embedded firmware, and building necessary scripts / tools for validating firmware releases, including field updates via OTA
- Understanding of WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Z-Wave protocols
- Familiarity and understanding of network debug tools and sniffer applications, interpreting/analyzing packet captures
- Experience with open source tools & packet captures (such as iPerf, Wireshark, etc.)
- Experience testing AWS (Cloud) especially related to IOT applications
- Experience with hardware and software development lifecycle processes, ability to review requirements and document detailed test cases / automation tools for thorough validation
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) due to the high level of cross-functional interaction between various development and QA teams (remote and local)
- Building Automation frameworks to enable validation of end-to-end product (including Mobile applications, device firmware and Cloud functions)
- Building CI/CD frameworks to enable faster deployments for Mobile apps (iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play Store)), device Firmware and Cloud
- Familiarity with GIT / code repositories and build infrastructures, Jenkins to build, maintain CI/CD capabilities, interaction with DevOps teams
- Experience and familiarity with Postman, JUnit etc. (or other API testing utilities)
- Familiarity with Android Studio / Xcode
- Experience and familiarity with AGILE SW Methodologies
- Ability to visualize and test keeping customer in mind
