Job Description
- The Automation Applications Delivery manager is a highly visible position across the organization and will directly support the delivery of automation solutions and their maintenance through a team of Hubbell employees and Vendor resources
- S(he) will be responsible for driving adoption, delivery, and maintenance of Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent automation and RPA solutions
- (S)he will understand business challenges and delivers technology solutions developed using Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, RPA, and Analytics
- (S)he will provide guidance on Governance policies for the broader organizational intelligent automation program regarding the implementation and maintenance of the automation technologies
- (S)he will leverage tools and techniques, along with automation capabilities available to create technology enabled solutions tailored to solve business challenges and improve operational efficiency, thereby supporting the organization s larger digital transformation vision
- This position can be based out of Hubbell offices in Kochi / Chennai / Hyderabad, India and will report to the Head of Automation Center of Excellence
- The position requires the resource to work during US EST working hours for upto 4 hours a day
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identifies, defines, and promotes automation design principles and standards for developing and executing Artificial Intelligence and
- Intelligent Automation solutions
- Chairs the automation design authority in defining design principles and standards, ensures their adherence, and overseas development by the set processes and procedures
- Participates in the design of complex automation solutions and ensures alignment with Enterprise automation program, IT and Organizational objectives
- Partners with other IT teams in embedding automation creating meaningful technology solutions
- Ensures the automation development is in alignment with the agreed functional and non-functional requirements
- Responsible for providing guidance on the required infrastructure, accesses, and controls for automation development, testing and deployment
- Responsible for establishing operational standards and monitoring routines to track operational and performance metrics
- Ensures the operating model objectives and standards of performance are met
- Accountable for the deployment of automation code and ongoing execution as per agreed schedules, SLAs, and standards
- Applies diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and provide solutions for exceptions and improving automation performance
- Manages the deployment of approved automation code into the production environment
- Maintains the daily administration of the automation software production environment (scheduling processes, monitoring resources, BOT capacity, SLAs, etc)
Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of experience with leading managing projects that primarily include Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Automation technologies. Activities include technology evaluation (POC development), architecture/design, development, and maintenance
- 10+ years of technology and architecture experience
- Strong leadership, partnership, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience of working in an Agile environment
- Ability to coordinate and communicate with all levels of the organization during all phases of automation lifecycle
- Experience with automation design patterns and practices including queue management and schedule optimization
- Understands the use of design principles and the applicability of Intelligent Automation solutions suitability
- 3+ years of experience with Python and key libraries, Machine Learning algorithms, NLP, and related technologies development, deployment, and maintenance
- Experience in implementing Machine Learning libraries including Azure ML, TensorFlow etc
- Experience / Exposure to Analytics algorithms including LightGBM, XG Boost, Logistic regression etc
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in RPA development. UiPath experience preferred
- Experience in leading design authority function preferred
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
