RPA Developer / Citizen Development

Job Description

  • Work with internal stakeholders to identity business processes fit for automation with Robotic Process Automation.
  • Able to develop an understanding of business processes, business requirements to conduct feasibility studies and proof of concepts.
  • Design, develop, test, and support the implementation of Robotic Process Automation solutions using primarily Blue Prism, and other platform such as Automation Anywhere.
  • Drive reusability in solutions and assure that overall designs conform to established SDLC frameworks and consistent with the bank and industry best practices (including scalability, availability, maintainability, and flexibility).
  • Work to handover Robotic Process Automation processes to the corresponding operations group, analyzing any issues and neutralizing their impacts as part of the hand-over, ensuring that solutions are fit for purpose and maintainable, and can be integrated successfully into the overall environment with clear, robust, and well tested deployments
  • Work innovatively and collaboratively to deliver projects efficiently to meet business goals, escalating issues to stakeholders to find best course of actions.
  • Support the Citizen Developer use of Low Code-No Code Robotic Process Automation solutions, working within a Community of Practice and assisting with the delivery of program benefits and strategic outcomes.
  • Guide and mentor new team members in their Robotic Process Automation journey.
  • Support the development and improvement of the Robotic Process Automation and Citizen Development program including the creation of contents, operating model, standards, policies.

Your skills and experience

  • Strong experience developing and implementing Robotic Process Automation solutions using Blue Prism and other platforms. (e.g., Automation Anywhere, UI Path, MS Power Platform)
  • Strong desire to consistently improve our processes in CI/CD pipeline, standard development practices, and incident management for existing automations.
  • Experience with process modeling or business objects tools like MS-Visio preferred
  • Good level of computer literacy in Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint Online, ability to grasp fundamental principles of new software and translate for non-technical audience.
  • Good analytical & problem-solving skills and experience of Target Operating Model design
  • Experience with Low Code/No Code tools and organizational Citizen Development upskilling
  • Strong understanding of SDLC Concepts
  • Knowledge on Information Security Concepts for Robotic Process Automation
  • Delivery focused & able to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and flexible to work autonomously coupled with the ability to work in virtual teams and in a matrix/global organization including the appreciation of different cultures (required)
  • Communicate with and positively influence project stakeholders and team members
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
