Senior Hardware Test/Reliability Engineer

Job Description


  • Responsible to test high-speed system hardware, e.g. CPU, LPDDR4/4x, MIPI-CSI/DSI, SDIO, eMMC/UFS and Industry Standard busses (I2C, SPI, UART, PDM for DMICs,I2S and CAN).
  • Hands-on experience on lab bring-up/debug for products, Circuit Boards, and design lab experiments to do root cause investigation of issues.
  • Represents HW team for RCA activities and ensures implementation of CAPA during the complete HW product lifecycle.
  • Get experience in test and measurement equipment including High End Oscilloscope, Logic/Spectrum/Vector Network analyzers
  • Responsible for Field Devices Health Monitoring for Critical issues and work with SW teams for issue resolution
  • Provide analysis of manufacturing test data and look for areas to improve quality and reliability.
  • Interfaces with various cross functional teams (Software, Operations and Supply Chain teams) to participate production program to improve yield, productivity, and quality.
  • Work as part of product team to support test development and provide sustaining test support throughout the product life cycle.
  • Analysis of HW Field failures, Feedback to Design team/SW teams/Contract manufactures for corrective actions and follow-up
  • Manage all component related concerns from field issues/observations and follow-up/Feedback to design team on design related and for product improvements
  • You will engage with the product teams(HW/SW and Product Test Suite Teams) to gain in depth system hardware knowledge to influence test strategy and/or DfX (Design for Test/Manufacturing/Reliability) changes.
  • Responsible for following and developing Field Test processes and procedures and test fixturing.
  • Analysis of designs for testability, and design margin robustness.
