Work: You will work with the team to build and run automation for security and compliance. The Security Automation Engineer will have the following core responsibilities:

• Develop workflows using multiple cloud APIs to tackle vulnerability management, threat detection, endpoint platforms compliance systems
• Improve security team efficiency through process automation
• Collect report metrics on automation effectiveness
• Collaborate with peers to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, cloudformation stacks, terraform scripts and more

Skills and Experience baseline:

• Strong coding skills in Python or equivalent language
• Experience with AWS cloud environment, using its APIs with Boto3 (or similar) and Lambda functions
• Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 5 years or more of relevant software engineering experience
• Understanding of Rest APIs and ability to utilize them in your code
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience working on remote teams
• Unimpeachable integrity, character, courage and honesty

Additional skills you might have (bonus points):

• Working knowledge of containers and Kubernetes environments
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Github Actions, Jenkins, CodeDeploy)
• Understanding of OWASP and secure application development best practices
• Experience working with non-relational databases (e.g., Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, Mongo, etc.)
• Experience in a product development environment
• Experience in FinTech or Technology industries
